Support for horse immunity: pure plants and targeted mixtures

The horse's immune system is constantly required: seasonal changes, cold blows, recovery, transport or competition stress, aging. When natural defenses weaken, the horse becomes more vulnerable to infections, fatigue and skin disorders.

ESC Laboratory offers pure plants and exclusive blends to support the immunity of your horse. Echinacea, eleutherococcus, lapacho, chlorella: each plant is selected for its richness in immunostimulant active ingredients. Our Fortimix, Sarcomix and Piromix blends combine several plants with complementary properties for enhanced action. Formulas developed under veterinary supervision, quality certified by an independent laboratory.

Why support his horse's immune defenses

The horse, like any living organism, has a system of natural defenses that protects it from external aggressions: bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites. This system is based on several pillars: the skin and mucous membrane barrier, the intestinal flora (which represents about 70% of the immune response), and circulating immune cells.

Some periods weaken this balance. Autumn and winter expose the horse to cold blows and respiratory infections. In spring, with the planting and the return of insects, the organism is asked differently. Transportation, stable changes, competition and deburring create stress that directly impacts the immune response.

The convalescent horse, the aged horse and the growing foal are particularly affected. Their nutritional needs increase while their adaptability decreases.

Supporting horse immunity through herbal therapy is providing the body with nutrients and active ingredients that strengthen its defences without replacing veterinary monitoring.

Key plants for horse immunity

Several plants are distinguished by their immune system support properties in horses.

Echinacea angustifolia is the reference plant for stimulating natural defences. Native to North America, it is traditionally used during cold blows, in times of risk or in support of a fragile organism. It also has purifying properties for external use.

Leleutherococcus, sometimes called Siberian ginseng, contains eleutherosides with adaptive and tonic properties. This plant helps the body adapt to stress while supporting immune defenses. It is also rich in vitamins C and E, calcium, magnesium and potassium.

The lapacho, nicknamed « tree of life » by the Incas, has a bark rich in alkaloids. It is traditionally used in South America for its benefits to the immune system. It is particularly recommended in case of skin growth (warts, sarcoids).

Chlorella, a microalgae rich in chlorophyll, essential fatty acids and trace elements, combines detoxifying properties and immunity support. Its ability to capture toxins helps relieve the body and release the resources of the immune system.

The seeds of chia, a natural source of omega 3, boost immune defenses while providing proteins and fibers useful for muscle development and digestion.

Fortimix, Sarcomix, Piromix: what mix for what need?

ESC Laboratory has developed three exclusive mixtures that combine plants with synergistic properties. Each formula responds to a specific context.
