The meadowsweet is a perennial, bushy herbaceous plant, from 1m to 1.50m high. White and full bloom from May to September. The meadowsweet is native to Europe and Asia and is particularly present in damp meadows and on the edges of ditches.

Components: simple phenolic heterosides (including methyl salicylate), flavonoids, tannins.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has analysed the scientific data on the potential virtues of the plant and confirms its antibacterial activity as well as its ability to relieve minor joint pain and mild respiratory ailments.

Analytical constituents: crude protein 11,75%, crude cellulose 24,20%, crude ash 5,00%, moisture 10,00%. Without additives.

Directions for use : dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg) : 20 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. Repeat if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or prolongation.

Precautions for use : pregnant or breast-feeding mares : on veterinary advice only. Not recommended for foals or in case of anticoagulant treatment. Formulated for the equids. Close tightly after use. Keep in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
