Soybean meal, derived from deoiled soybean seed, is an exceptional source of protein (47%), providing many essential amino acids such as lysine and threonine. Recommended to fill the deficiencies of an essential amino acid cereal ration in the athlete horse, the growing foal and the pregnant or lactating foal. The soy meal for the horse, a very high protein concentrate and a good source of energy:

Soybean meal is a product derived from soybeans commonly used in animal feed for its high protein content.

Our soy meal comes from a line drawn from guaranteed GM-free soybeans. Its average protein content is 45%. Soy meal is obtained by a pressure-extrusion process.

The interest of soy meal for the horse is its protein richness but also its lysine content (27 gr on average / kg). Lysine is an essential amino acid that concentrates in the muscles and has many biological functions. Lysine also acts as a support for immune defences.

When to give his horse soy meal?

Soybean meal is particularly indicated in growing horse (chuckles), horse athlete subjected to intense work, and pregnant chick or lactation, with increased protein and essential amino acid requirements. It is also appropriate to horse in poor condition or in the phase of muscle recovery after recovery, to support the reconstruction and development of muscle masses.

Conversely, it is not necessary to distribute it to a resting horse with an already balanced diet of protein, the excess not bringing any additional benefit. The amount is based on the weight of the horse, its level of activity and the rest of the ration: ask your equine veterinarian or nutritionist for advice to adjust the dose.

Raw material for horse feed.

Analytical constituents: crude protein 47%, crude cellulose 7.0%, crude fat 2.3%, crude ash 7.3%, phosphorus 0.78%, calcium 0.34%. No additives.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 80 to 150 g per day. Gradually introduce 50 g per day into the ration in the first week. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.

Precautions for use: formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).
