Spirulina, a plant very rich in proteins which reinforces the resistance to effort in the horse:

Spirulina is an algae that has existed for 3 billion years and is very rich in proteins (min 65%) and antioxidants. This algae is recommended for the athletic horse, during fatigue and for the old horse. The proteins it contains are of excellent quality (the proportion of amino acids and digestibility are optimal). Spirulina is also an excellent source of iron.

A test on 16 untrained subjects would have shown a better resistance to effort by reducing oxidative stress and aches and pains in participants who took spirulina.

What to associate spirulina with?

For a complete phytonutrition treatment, a supplement enriched in trace elements and minerals can effectively complement spirulina. Rotzelle, liquid complementary food elaborated from a mixture of plants and enriched in biotin, selenium and zinc contributes to increase the energetic capacity and the resistance to the effort. Directions for use : dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg) : 15 g per day for 3 weeks. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or prolongation.

Precautions for use : pregnant or breast-feeding mares : on veterinary advice only. Formulated for equidae. To close again well after use. Keep in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.

Our plants are stored away from light, heat and dust. The finished products are packaged in opaque buckets and stored in an air-conditioned room in order to preserve the quality of the raw materials.
