With the arrival of cold and humidity, joint comfort deserves special attention, especially in older horses or at regular work. Our November Bag combines two complementary assets to support the joints during this period.
MSM, a source of bioavailable organic sulphur, is involved in the synthesis of collagen, one of the main constituents of cartilage and connective tissue. The algal oil, ultra-concentrated in omega 3 DHA, contributes to the joint flexibility and balance of the body's responses involved in inflammatory processes.
It is the natural duo ideal to accompany horses whose joint comfort requires special attention in autumn.
Sold with its totebag ESC Laboratory.
The Bag of November: a natural protocol for the joint comfort of the horse
With the arrival of cold and humidity, the horse's joints deserve special attention. An elderly horse, a sports horse or a horse with regular work requires flexible joints to stay comfortable on a daily basis, both in the meadow and under the saddle.
Our November Bag brings together two essentials of ESC Laboratory, the MSM 100 % pure andSeaweed oil rich in omega 3 DHA. Together, they support the flexibility and comfort of the joints, from the inside.
For what horses?
- Horses whose joint comfort is to be monitored with the arrival of cold and humidity
- Horses with joint or muscle sensitivity
- Elderly horses, to support the flexibility of their joints
- Sports horses or at regular work, whose joints are very strained
- Horses with recurrent joint sensitivities
What the Bag of November brings to your horse
Joints supported in their structure with MSM
The cartilage, tendons and ligaments of your horse are largely collagen. To manufacture and maintain it, the body needs sulphur.
The MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of highly bioavailable organic sulphur, i.e. easily assimilated by the horse. It is naturally present in the organism and in some fresh plants. The sulphur it brings contributes to the synthesis:
- of the collagen, one of the main constituents of cartilage and connective tissue;
- of the glycosaminoglycans (GAG), essential components of the joints;
- of the keratin, which constitutes hooves, hairs and crins.
In addition, pure MSM has antioxidant and soothing properties recognized. It is interesting for horses with joint or muscle sensitivity.
Our MSM is 100% pure, without flavouring or additive.
More flexibility and comfort with omega 3 of seaweed oil
The omega 3 participate in the flexible joints and support the comfort of horses, especially those who are old or very active.
Our Algae oil is extracted from the microalgae Schizochytrium. She is ultra-concentrated in DHA (48.9%) and is also a source ofEPA. These two omega 3 are biologically active forms that the horse's body can use immediately. Flax or hemp oils, on the other hand, bring ALA, an omega 3 which must first be processed by the body.
These omega 3 contribute to the proper functioning of the locomotor system. They contribute to the balance of the body's natural responses, which intervene especially during joint stresses.
Benefits Beyond Joints
This protocol also benefits the entire body of your horse:
- A beautiful dress and healthy skin omega 3 nourishes the skin from the inside and promotes a shiny hair.
- Quality hooves and crins sulphur from MSM contributes to the synthesis of keratin.
- Support for blood circulation, particularly interesting for sports horses.
Why associate MSM and Seaweed Oil?
Both products are complementary. The MSM provides the sulphur necessary for the synthesis of the structural components of the joint, such as collagen and GAGs. LAlgae oil brings active omega 3 that supports flexibility and joint comfort.
This is why our experts recommend combining MSM and DHA in horses with significant or recurrent joint sensitivity.
A controlled quality
- MSM 100 % pure 34% sulphur, without flavour or additive.
- Algae oil : a sustainable and contaminant-free alternative to fish oils. Its totox of 1.9 at the time of analysis revealed an extremely low degree of oxidation; a very high quality oil has a totox of less than 10. The oil is GMO-free, nanoparticle-free and has not undergone any ionizing radiation treatment.
These are two essentials of ESC Laboratory, each rated 4.8/5 by our customers.
