MATRICAN CAMOMILE - Matricaria chamomilla. Asteraceae family

The Chamomile Matricaria is an annual plant of 50cm height approximately. Blooms from May to October. Very fragrant white and yellow flowers. It is very abundant throughout Europe but also grows in North America, Australia, Argentina and Egypt.

Components: essential oil, sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids, coumarins, mucilage, inulin.

Matricaria chamomile, the ideal plant to soothe stressed horses

L’intérêt de la Camomille réside dans sa double fonction : stress et inconfort digestif. Elle convient donc particulièrement aux chevaux qui présentent un dérèglement digestif lié au stress.

Externally, chamomile has a soothing and purifying action. It is thus ideal to reduce the itchings and irritations of the skin. It must in this case be applied using a cotton soaked in infusion of cooled chamomile.
