The male fern root, a filicin source, has been used since ancient times to support the organism in its fight against internal parasites. Externally, root decoction has soothing properties in case of joint sensitivity.

Dryopteris filix-mas. Family of dryopteridaceae.
Components: filicin (polyphenol derived from phloroglucinol), copper, sucrose, starch, malic acid, resin, essential oil in very small amounts.
The active compounds Female, especially filicin, support the body in its control of internal parasites. It is also used externally to soothe joints in the event of discomfort or sensitivity.
Preparation of male fern decoction is simple. Boil the dried fronds of the plant in water for about 10 to 15 minutes. After allowing the liquid to cool to a warm temperature, it can be applied directly to sensitive areas using a clean cloth or compress.

Analytical constituents: 8.49 % crude protein, 12.0% crude ash, 13.50% crude cellulose, 9.84 % water content. No additives.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550 kg): 15 g per day for 3 days. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. Renew 3 to 4 times a year. Do not exceed recommended doses.
Precautions for use: not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares or foals. Not recommended for gastric ulcers, heart disease or liver. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
