Distilled from the needles of the tree, the essential oil of Pin Sylvestre is strongly concentrated in monoterpenes which gives it expectorant and mucolytic properties. These active compounds help to fluidize secretions to release the respiratory tract. This essential oil is also recommended in case of inflammation of mucous membranes and helps to stop the development of pathogenic germs in the respiratory tract.
