Curcuma Flex, a liquid supplement that promotes the joint flexibility of the horse:

The formula Curcuma Flex helps to support locomotion and soothe horses subject to joint stiffness thanks to the association of:

  • Curcuma Curcumin, which gives the turmeric yellow colour, has been studied extensively. This substance has antioxidant and soothing properties especially in case of joint sensitivity.
  • MSM : or methyl sulfonyl-methane is a natural source of bioavailable organic sulphur, i.e. well assimilated by the organism. Sulphur is required for the manufacture of collagen, one of the main components of cartilage and connective tissue of the organism

Curcuma Flex is enriched with black pepper to maximize the absorption of turcumin by the body. This liquid complementary feed is formulated from mother dyes that have a high level of plant actives and are a good alternative to pure plant.

The liquid formula has several advantages, including the ability to be administered with a oral syringe, which can be convenient for horses living in a community or those who take their ration with difficulty.

With what to associate Curcuma Flex?

In order to strengthen its joint support action, Curcuma Flex may be associated with a treatment ofArthromix, a mixture of dehydrated plants selected for their soothing and draining properties on the joints of horses. Arthromix is beneficial during intense work, stiffness or discomfort.

In case of significant discomfort, you can distributeHarpagophytum. This plant is rich in harpagosides with soothing properties in case of joint sensitivity. Beware, however, of this plant which should not be distributed in case of a sensitive stomach or official competition (to stop 5 days before the competition).

Composition: cider vinegar, Curcuma longa (matured, filtered), MSM, flax oil, Xanthane gum, salt. Sensory additives: aromatic substances (black pepper).

Analytical constituents: raw proteins < 0.5%, crude fats 48.4%, crude ash < 0.3%, crude cellulose 18.4%, humidity 47.3%, sodium 0.0026%, sulphur 2.5%.

Additional feed for horses.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 30 ml per day for 3 weeks. If possible, give in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.

Precautions for use: GOOD WORK BEFORE EMPLOYMENT. Not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares or foals or in cases of gastric ulcers (high dose). Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Horse mother dyes are liquid solutions obtained after maceration of plants in alcohol (1 kg of plant is required for 1 litre of hydroalcoholic solution). The amount of active ingredients determines the percentage of alcohol added (the degree of alcohol is usually between 60 and 95 degrees). The maceration time is about 3 weeks during which the mixture is regularly stirred to concentrate the liquid into active ingredients. This mixture is then filtered.
