The Active yeast + brings a strain of probiotics benefiting from numerous scientific publications and authorised in Europe for animal feed. Probiotics are living microorganisms that strengthen the intestinal microbiota (or intestinal flora). In horses, they help to improve the digestion of fibres (forage and/or grass) and the assimilation of the ration. Microbiota also plays a key role in immunity.
In periods of activity, taking probiotics therefore helps to strengthen the body's resistance to stress.
The Active yeast + is also source of beer yeast with prebiotic properties and source of vitamins group B, and lithothamne, a small alga matrine rich in calcium and magnesium and useful in case of stomach acidity.
Why use a source of probiotics like Active Yeast +?
The Active yeast + is recommended to promote the recovery of the condition, in the senior horse with fragile microbiota, in the event of digestive disorders, to accompany a food transition or medication treatment that can deregulate the intestinal flora (vermifuges, antibiotics for example), or in the event of stressful situation: training, transport, stable change, etc.
Our experts recommend at least 2 cures per year (at seasonal changes) from 4 to 6 weeks, or more if necessary.
What synergy with active yeast +?
In case of need of effort support, the active yeast can be supplemented by a cure ofEnergymix, a mixture of plants that help support the body of the horse at work and promote recovery. Energymix is a source of protein-rich fenugrec, mineral-rich seaweeds and trace elements, and vitamin C-source cynorrhodon.

Addendum: 4b1702 Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-4407 5×10^12 CFU/kg.
Analytical constituents: crude protein 24.9%, crude fat 3.3%, crude cellulose 0.5%, raw ash 35.2%, water content 4.4%.
Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 10 g per day for at least 3 weeks. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).
