Fucus (or seaweeds) is a brown algae source of many vitamins, minerals and trace elements. We recognize it thanks to its vesicles that allow it to float while remaining hung. It is generally found in the North Seas and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans; But ours comes from Brittany.

This seaweed was used by Romans who recognized it anti-inflammatory properties on the joints. Its rich iodine and minerals make it an effective anti-fatigue remedy. Fucus also stimulates the immune system to speed up recovery time.

In horses, fucus is traditionally recommended during fatigue, difficult moulting and in elderly horses.
