Psyllium is an annual plant native to India and Iran grown throughout the Mediterranean basin.
Components: mucilages located in the epidermis, hydrocarbons, fatty acids, sterols, proteins, iridoids, insoluble fibres.

Psyllium is a plant rich in mucilages that forms a lubricating gel in the intestine. Mucilage is a plant substance that swells in contact with water giving a viscous liquid that improves and accelerates transit.
Psyllium is recommended in horses that live on sandy grounds.
With what to associate the psyllium?
In case of constipation or ingestion of sand, Flaxseed can also be added to the ration. Flax seeds help relieve the digestive tract. The presence of mucilage facilitates transit in horses subject to straw stoppers.

Analytical constituents: crude protein 3.0%, crude fat 0.7%, crude cellulose 3.6%, crude ash 3.2%, humidity 11.0%. No additives.
Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg), after soaking 1 hour in warm water: 100 to 150 g per day for 7 days per month. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses and away from taking medication. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Monitor the right drink. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).
