Psyllium is a mucilage-rich plant that forms a lubricating gel in the intestine. Mucilage is a plant substance that swells on contact with water, producing a viscous liquid that improves and speeds up transit.

Psyllium is recommended for horses that live on sandy ground.

What do you associate psyllium with?

In case of constipation or colic, linseed can also be added to the ration. Linseed helps to relieve the digestive system. The presence of mucilage facilitates transit in horses prone to straw plugs. Linseed reinforces the digestive action of the mash.

Conseils d’utilisation : dose à ajouter à la ration de base d’un cheval adulte (550kg), après trempage 1 heure dans de l’eau tiède : 100 à 150 g par jour pendant 7 jours par mois. Si possible, distribuer en 2 prises quotidiennes et à l’écart de la prise d’un traitement médicamenteux. N’hésitez pas à demander l’avis de votre vétérinaire avant utilisation ou prolongation.
