MARINE ALGUES – Fucus vesicularosus. Fucaceae family

Fucus is a fresh green seaweed that turns brown while drying. Fucus is widespread on the rocky shores of the Atlantic and Pacific, mainly in cold waters. Fucus is a marine seaweed source of many vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Traditionally used during fatigue, difficult moulting, overweight or in elderly horses. Components: trace elements (iodine, copper, chromium, zinc, selenium, iron), vitamins, mineral salts, mucilages, polyphenols.

Because of their natural richness in many vitamins, minerals and trace elements, seaweed are recommended to restore vitality to tired organisms. They are therefore particularly suitable for elderly horses or for difficult moulting periods.

Fucus can also be used in case of overweight problem thanks to its iodine composition that activates lipid metabolism and mucilages that have appetite suppressant action thanks to the volume occupied by algae once they are rehydrated in the stomach.

With what to associate seaweeds?

In case of severe fatigue, AMarine lgues can be supplemented by a treatment ofExtrafer, Liquid complementary feed that helps increase energy capacity and resistance to stress.

In case of difficult mue, associate with Cod liver oil.

Pure dehydrated algae.

Raw material for horse feed.

Analytical constituents: crude cellulose 46.5%, raw ash 15%, raw protein 10%, moisture 5.34%, raw fat 3%. No additives.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 25 to 50 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, give in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.

Precautions for use: Not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares for anticoagulant treatment, hyperthyroidism or long-term use. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).

The packaging is carried out in France by our Laboratory.

ESC quality controls Laboratory on seaweeds for horses: each pure plant lot is approved by an independent laboratory that certifies its quality and analyses the bacteriological content.
Our plants are stored away from the light of heat and dust. The finished products are packed in opaque buckets and stored in an air-conditioned room to preserve the quality of the raw materials.
