MATRICARY CAMOMILLE – Matricaria chamomilla. Asteraceae family

The Camomille Matricaire is an annual plant about 50cm tall. Flowering from May to October. White and yellow flowers very fragrant. It is very abundant throughout Europe but also grows in North America, Australia, Argentina and Egypt.

Components: essential oil, sesquiterpenic lactones, flavonoids, coumarins, mucilages, inulin.

The matricar chamomile, the ideal plant to appease stressed horses

The interest of the Camomille is its dual function: stress and digestive discomfort. It is therefore particularly suitable for horses with a digestive disorder related to stress.

In external use, chamomile has a soothing and purifying action. It is therefore ideal to reduce itching and irritation of the skin. In this case it shall be applied with the aid of a cotton soaked with cooled chamomile infusion.

With what to associate the Camomille ?
