CHICOREE – Cichorium intybus. Asteraceae family
The Chicorea is a perennial herbaceous plant from 40cm to 1m. In the wild, chicory is naturally present in the prairies of northern Europe. Cultivated for grazing herbivores, the leaves and roots of chicory are used for its therapeutic virtues and digestive benefits.

The root of Chicorea is traditionally used to ensure proper digestion. It contains choline that supports bile production and elimination. It has a draining action and thanks to its richness in inulin, it acts as prebiotics that contributes to the development of the intestinal flora.
With what to associate Chicorea?
If crottin softens, you can use our formula Food clay. It has powerful absorbent and adsorbent properties.
If your horse has a sensitive stomach, you can associate the Chicorea with Juice of Aloe vera.
To support the intestinal flora of your horse, it is possible to associate it with our Active yeast +.

Raw material for horse feed.
Analytical constituents: raw protein 5.50%, %, crude fat 3.0%, crude cellulose 3.8%, raw ash 6.0%, water content 3.16%.
No additives.
Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 15 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).
