The gattilier is a shrub native to Central Asia but acclimatized throughout the Mediterranean region. Floration in June-July of purple violet flowers, producing fleshy fruits resembling pepper grains.

The fruit of Gattilier or pepper of monks is traditionally used in case of sensitive ovaries or behavioral disorders during heat or continuously.

It is also called chastity tree, the Gattilier is also useful for soothing the wholes too hot.

With what to associate the Gattilier?

In mares with pronounced hormonal disorders, the Gattilier can be given alternately with Regulmixa mixture of dehydrated plants selected for their soothing properties on the ovaries.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 15 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.

Precautions for use: not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares or foals. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
