Marshmallow, a softening plant that is a source of mucilage:

Marshmallow is rich in mucilage that soothes the respiratory tract and sensitive stomach. Mucilages are sticky substances that swell on contact with water and have softening and lubricating properties.

Marshmallow can also be used externally to soothe irritations, insect bites or cracks.

You can extract marshmallow paste (by peeling the roots), which can be used in confectionery but beware this one has nothing to do with industrial marshmallow!

What synergy with the marshmallow?

En cas de gêne respiratoire persistante, vous pouvez également donner du sirop Equipulm, concentré à base de plantes expectorantes et décongestionnantes. Ce sirop riche en oligo-éléments (cuivre, manganèse) dégage efficacement les voies respiratoires des chevaux.

En cas d’estomac sensible vous pouvez associer la Guimauve avec du Jus d’aloe vera.

Raw material for horse feed.

Constituants analytiques : protéines brutes 17,9%, matières grasses brutes 2,4%, cellulose brute 10,6%, cendres brutes 6,8%, teneur en eau 10,8%. Sans additifs.

Directions for use : dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg) : 20 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. Repeat if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or prolongation.

Precautions for use : pregnant or breast-feeding mares : on veterinary advice only. Formulated for the equids. To close again well after use. Keep in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
