The licorice is a perennial plant, from the subfamily Faboideae. Known for its very aromatic rhizomatous roots, it has been used since ancient times for therapeutic and culinary purposes. Originally from southern Europe and Asia, licorice needs a warm climate and grows preferentially in fertile and moist soils.

Components: glycyrrhizal acid, coumarin, maltol, flavonoids, including: liquiritoside, lisoliquiritoside, phytosterins, alkaloids, saponins, phytoestrogens, as well as mastitis, asparagine, steroids.

Licorice, a plant recommended for sensitive stomach or bronchi congestion:

Licorice has broad spectrum softening properties. Thus, it is particularly recommended for horses living in dusty environments, hampered by the regular presence of mucus in bronchi. Licorice is also known to protect mucous membranes from gastric acid by releasing a thick protective mucus. Licorice is also a plant with renowned purifying properties and is a powerful support for immune defenses.

Pure dehydrated plant

Raw material for horse feed.

Analytical constituents: 6% crude protein, 0.8% crude fat, 0.1% crude cellulose, 8% crude ash, 9.6% water content. No additives.

Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 20 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.

Precautions for use: not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares or foals. Not recommended for Cushing's disease. Avoid prolonged use for more than 6 weeks. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).

The packaging is carried out in France by our Laboratory.
