Squash seeds are sources of Cucurbitin, a natural amino acid to support natural defenses against internal parasites. Rich in protein (almost 30%) and fiber, they are an interesting source of nutrients and promote a good digestive transit.
A study (*) showed a significant reduction in excretion of eggs from intestinal nematodes after distribution of squash seed meal in sheep.
Plant presentation: Cucurbita pepo is a very old plant native to America. Amerindian peoples were already using seeds for their diuretic virtue.

Cucurbitin is stable in whole squash seeds stored under good conditions, but more easily sethanol after grinding. Therefore we propose whole seeds and recommend grinding them before distribution.

Analytical constituents: fat 49.09%, protein 30.20%, fibre 6.0%.
Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration for an adult horse (550kg): 200 g per day of crushed squash seeds before distribution for 3 days. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
Anti-Doping Control: This product may contain natural contaminants that can make an anti-doping test positive, and we recommend that it be discontinued before an official test. Ask a veterinarian for advice on waiting time (usually 72 hours).
