Tryptophan is an amino acid that is involved in the production of serotonin, known for its properties in stressed horses or for too hot behaviour. Formula enriched with marine magnesium.
Bucket 500g
Additional feed for horses containing tryptophan.
The tryptophan is an amino acid, i.e. protein. Of the 22 existing amino acids, tryptophan is one of the nine so-called "essential" acids: it cannot be manufactured by the organism and must be brought into the diet.
This unique amino acid is the precursor of a neuromediator, the serotonin, i.e. it participates in its production. This brings serenity (fighting against anxiety) in stressed horses.
The tryptophan also allows the synthesis of the vitamin B3 which is involved in energy production.
This amino acid is usually found in plants: animals do not have the ability to synthesize it. The micro-organisms of plants are therefore the only ones able to synthesize this amino acid.
Our original formula is a tryptophan concentrate (10 g/d at full dose!) enriched with marine magnesium and lithothamne, small seaweed beneficial in case of gastric acidity.
