Flax seeds, a natural support that facilitates the digestion of the horse:
Flax seeds help soothe the digestive tract. The presence of mucilage facilitates transit in horses subject to straw stoppers.
The flax seed is the fruit of the flax flower. It is a spherical capsule containing a brown, oval, flattened seed rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3), proteins, soluble fibres, lignons, mucilages and sterols.
It is important to cook them before distribution because they naturally contain a toxic substance, hydrocyanic acid, destroyed by heat.
Uncooked flaxseed can also be used as a raw material for a recommended foot dressing in case of sensibility of the hoof or to promote ripening of an abscess.
With what combination of flax seeds?
In order to strengthen the digestive well-being of horses, flax seeds may be associated with Juice. Of course very rich in vitamins, minerals and polysaccharides, the juice of aloe vera soothes horses prone to digestive problems while strengthening the intestinal flora.

I had been giving them flaxseed for at least three years and I stopped on the advice of the vet following too soft stools. I bought it in a bag of 20 kilos to 21 kilos.€ in seeding (we are in the flax-producing region) so there it really is at an exhorbitant price... but I didn't want to go to the seeding for only this bag of 20 kilos because it's 60 km away.
The packaging is carried out in France by our Laboratory.
