The complete plant-based formula, enriched with trace elements such as selenium and vitamin E, make dHippocramps an effective complementary feed to speed up the horse's muscle recovery time after physical effort or in case of cramps:
- Spirulina: it is a seaweed very rich in protein and antioxidants. Spirulina is particularly recommended in athlete horses and during fatigue.
- Selenium: This oligo-element plays a major antioxidant role in the athlete, in close association with Vitamin E. Selenium conditions the activity of antioxidant enzymes and contributes to the regeneration of vitamin E. Selenium deficiency can result in increased exercise fatigue, impaired recovery and muscle discomfort.
- Vitamin E: This vitamin has recognized antioxidant properties and protects organic tissues. Vitamin E prolongs the life of the red blood cells and is necessary for the proper use of oxygen by the muscles.
With what to associate Hippocrampes?
For accelerated recovery, it is also possible to add to the basic ration of the Magnesium chloride. Magnesium has musculo-relaxing properties and helps to reduce muscle tension during intense exercise.

Composition: plant glycerin, microfine marine algae (ascophyllum, laminaria, fucus, spirulina, chlorella), glycine, demineralized water.
Additives to kg: vitamin E (3a700) acetate α tocpheryl 15000mg, E8 selenium (sodium selenite) 500mg, 3b302 cobalt (cobalt carbonate) 200mg, 3b201 iodine (potassium iodide) 2000mg, E6 zinc (zinc sulphate monohydrate) 15000mg.
Analytical constituents: mineral 20%, protein 8%, fat 0.10%, crude cellulose 0.5%, moisture 60%.
Instructions for use: dose to be added in drinking water for an adult horse (550kg): 10 ml per day for 7 to 10 days. If possible, give in 2 daily doses. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: GOOD WORK BEFORE USE. pregnant or lactating mares: on veterinary advice only. Due to the high amount of selenium, follow the instructions for use. Do not exceed the international recommendations for selenium intake (0.1 - 0.3 mg/kg dry matter of the total ration). Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
