The Chondroitin is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG) naturally present in large quantities in cartilage of the horse's joints. It plays a structural role by holding water within the cartilage, giving it elasticity and promoting shock absorption.
The Chondroitin also exerts protective action on cartilage by helping to curb the activity of enzymes responsible for its degradation (metalloproteases).
These properties make it a chondroprotective especially suitable for joint support in horses.
In sulphate form, it has a good bioavailability.
Our experts recommend that the Chondroitin for at least 6 weeks in horses regularly worked or followed for joint disorders.

Analytical constituents: chloride <0.50%, sulphate 0.24%, desiccation loss 8.9%.
Instructions for use: dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg): 3 g day for 60 days. To be renewed if necessary. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or extension.
Precautions for use: not recommended in pregnant or lactating mares or foals. Formulated for equidae. Close well after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
