Harpagophytum, a plant that naturally soothes the horse's joints:

Harpagophytum procumbens or devil's claw, source of harpagoside, is the plant of reference in the management of sensitive joints of the horse. Several scientific studies carried out on humans have shown that harpagophytum is effective in reducing pain caused by osteoarthritis.
The harpagophytum root is recommended to bring comfort and flexibility to the joints of sensitive horses, especially in old horses.

What is harpagophytum associated with?

In order to reinforce the action of harpagophytum, it is possible to complement it with a chondroprotector such as MSM, a source of bioavailable sulfur, known for its benefits during inflammation of connective tissues.
For the horse with a sensitive stomach, harpagophytum can be replaced by Boswellia serrata or Meadowsweet as a pure plant.
We also offerArthromix, a unique blend of 9 plants selected to soothe and strengthen the horse's joints, without harpagophytum for horses with sensitive stomachs.

Raw material for horse feed

Analytical constituents: crude protein 5,83%, crude fat 2,80% crude cellulose 5,30%, crude ash 10,00%, moisture 3,70%.

Directions for use : dose to be added to the basic ration for an adult horse (550kg) : 15 g per day for 3 weeks. If possible, distribute in 2 daily doses. Repeat if necessary. In case of prolonged use: divide the dose by two. Do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice before use or prolongation.

Précautions d’usage : déconseillé chez les juments gestantes ou allaitantes ou chez les poulains. Déconseillé en cas d’ulcère gastrique. Bien refermer après usage. Conserver dans un endroit frais et sec. Tenir hors de portée des enfants.

Contrôle antidopage : ce produit contenant une ou plusieurs substances dopantes, arrêtez sa distribution avant une épreuve officielle. Demandez conseil à un vétérinaire pour connaître le délai d’attente (habituellement 72 heures).

Produit livré en seau très pratique avec gobelet doseur. Dose calculée uniquement pour chevaux de 550kgs donc pour le mien de 400 j'ai du refaire des calculs surtout que le gobelet est en ml et le dosage indiqué en gramme : pas pratique. Après 15 jours je vois une amélioration dans les allures de mon cheval de 15 ans qui n'engageait plus et était très raide au niveau des jarrets. Toutefois j'attends la fin de la cure pour voir son effet.
