VIRGIN HORSE OIL - Stress and skin irritations of horses

Hemp is one of the first plants domesticated by man. This plant is the source of^raw materials used in many fields. We extract an oil rich in various nutrients and fatty acids. Dark green in color, this oil has a grassy, nutty taste and a smell reminiscent of freshly cut grass.

Hemp oil is extracted from the seed of the plant. It is largely composed of fatty acids, which are unsaturated fatty acids (9 to 14% omega-9), as well as saturated fatty acids (8 to 10% stearic and palmic acids). However, there is a large proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is about 17 to 20 % of fatty acid omega-3 and 55 to 60 % of fatty acids omega-6. It is thus part of the the richest vegetable oils in omega 3.

It is also a source of vitamins A, E, B1, B2 and B6.

Hemp oil can be used in many ways because of its exceptional properties for the body, the skin and the hair. There is therefore hemp oil for food use, which can also be used for external care.

In external application, it will be used for its anti-inflammatory virtues in particular in the event of irritation, insect bites, itching....

In supplementation, the anti-inflammatory properties of hemp oil are of interest in case of digestive disorders related to stress, but also to strengthen the immune system thanks to its content in vitamins A, E and saturated fatty acids.

Hemp oil is therefore generally used for the well-being and fortification of the equine body. It can be recommended to strengthen the organism as winter approaches or to protect it from external attacks (viruses, bacteria...) and for older or convalescent horses.
